LOCATION: Burke Lake Park 2.98 mile course (Grass, Trails and Road)

TIMES: 12:00pm Boys Race (Top 7)
12:30pm Girls Race (Top 7)

PARTICIPANTS: Each School May have a maximum of 10 runners listed on the entry form with 7 running on the day of the race. All participants must be registered using the VHSL entry form and emailed to Andy Muir, Director of Student Activities at West Springfield HS no later than 3:30 p.m. on Friday October 21st 2016. Entries also need to be submitted into www.milestat.com by the same deadline.

RULES: The rules found in the VHSL Handbook.

ENTRY FORMS: Coaches should submit their qualified entries on the VHSL Conference entry form found in the Principals Workbook or online at www.vhsl.org. Entry form should be emailed to Conference Director (Andy Muir) no later than Friday, October 21st 2016 at 3:30pm. The original signed copy can be submitted to the Conference Director at tournament registration.

SPECIFICS: There are no locker rooms available. Bathrooms are available at the marina and ice-cream store Tents may only be erected in the designated areas. Teams MUST clean up their area of all trash upon completion of the race

Numbers: All participants will wear numbers on the front of their singlet. The numbers, pins, chips and other official materials will be distributed to coaches at the scorers table at 12:00 pm during the coaches meeting.

INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS: First through fifteen will each receive Conference medals.

TEAM CHAMPION: The team champion will receive a Conference championship plaque and 15 patches.

Regional Championship: This will take place on Wednesday November 2nd 2016. The top 4 teams (Boys/Girls) from each Conference will progress; as will the top 15 overall finishers in each race qualify.

State Championship: The top six teams in each Regional race (girls and boys) will qualify for the State Meet, plus the top 10 individuals not in the top 6 teams from each race (girls and boys) will qualify for the State Meet. The 6A races will be held at Great Meadow, specific race details to follow.

Schedule of Events for Conference championships on October 26th

10:00am Teams can start to arrive and set up tents on the facility. The same expectations are in place that we used at the Monroe Parker Meet with regards to location and keeping area clean.
