Location: Northumberland High School, Heathsville, VA
Admission: $5.00 or passes, acceptable passes are VIAAA, VHSL, VHSCA, and Principal Pass
Schedule: 1:00 p.m. - Coaches Scratch meeting (Scratches Only, No Additions)
2:00 p.m. - Field Events Begin
3:00 p.m. - Running Event Finals Begin
Entries: Each school may enter up to three participants in each event. All marks/times will be verified. If you have more than three in one event, email ALL qualifiers in that event to (Donald Mitchell) prior to the deadline. The time or distance entered must be a regular season meet or invitational

If you have more than three entries in an event due to an automatic Conference 43 qualifier, email all entries for that event to (Donald Mitchell) by Monday May 15, 2017.

Scoring & Timing: We will be utilizing an F.A.T. timing system that will be operated. It is essential that you submit your entries prior to Monday May 15th 11:59 PM ; to ensure accuracy and that all entries are entered into the system in a timely manner. Once again, if you have any questions, feel free to call or email. Changes will NOT be accepted after (Monday May 15th)
Advancement to 1A East Regionals: The top six athletes per event and the top three relays automatically qualify for the 1A East Regionals event. Also, all athletes/relays who achieve the automatic standards also qualify for the meet.
1A East Regional Registration: The 1A East Regionals will be submitted online on Milestat.com as well. The registration page is http://va.milesplit.com/meets/170686-vhsl-1a-east-regional-outdoor-track-and-field-championships#.U01TffldWSo. All marks will be verified as well.

Additional Information:
All- Academic: Please email these recipients of the All- Academic Awards ( GPA of 3.4 or higher) along with you your entries.
Scratch Meeting: No additions will be allowed at this meeting. Only deletions and corrections will be allowed. Heats and sections may be re- seeded after the meeting.
Equipment: Each team is responsible for providing their own shot, discus, baton, etc. Northumberland High School will provide starting blocks. All competitors must use 1/4 inch pyramid spikes or flats while competing. Violations of maximum length spikes will result in disqualification.
Disqualifiaction: Competitor(s) shall be disqualified from his or her event if a team member is in the infield area designated for competition. These areas must have competitors who are actually competing. Each contestant in the running events must check in with the Clerk of Course in the designated area by the 2nd call. Running events take precedence over field events. No track event will be held up for and athlete. Coaches are reminded to be familiar with the 2016 NFHS Track & Field Rules Book: Coaches, it is your responsibilities to have your competitors compliant with the uniform rules. This includes sportsmanship rules and codes of good conduct. These will be strictly enforced.
Scoring: Points for all events will be awarded on a 10-8-6-4-2-1 (1st- 6th place).
