The Nation's Only Same-Day Cross Country Invitational and Ultimate Tournament:
A middle and high school cross country invitational
An Ultimate tournament
Miles of woodland cross country trails to explore
An excellent opportunity for team bonding and fellowship-building with other teams
Cross country invitational will be sanctioned by NFHS
9:00 AM - Middle School Boys Race (2 Miles)
9:30 AM - Middle School Girls Race (2 Miles)
10:00 AM - Junior Varsity Boys Race (5k)
10:30 AM - Junior Varsity Girls Race (5k)
11:00 AM - Varsity Boys Race (5k) (Your Top 7 Athletes)
11:30 AM - Varsity Girls Race (5k) (Your Top 7 Athletes)
11:15 AM - 1:00 PM - Cookout Lunch and Cross Country Awards
Top 10 finishers in Varsity races and top 5 in JV races will receive commemorative discs
Winning teams in Middle School races will receive a team trophy
Top 2 teams in Junior Varsity and Varsity divisions will receive team trophies
Inexpensive cookout lunch
1:00 PM - Co-Ed Ultimate Tournament

Games played on multiple fields to keep tournament moving
Aim will be to conclude tournament around 4 PM
Additional Information:
1. Due to its unique and taxing nature, participation in the Ultimate Tournament will require a liability waiver signed by all participating student-athletes and their parents/guardians:

2. Although we will provide as much supervision as possible, Broadwater Academy is not responsible for the direct supervision of student-athletes from visiting schools. Coaches and parents are expected to be mindful of their student-athlete's/children's behavior and actions at all times. Two female locker rooms and one male locker room will be open throughout this event for shower and restroom facilities for athletes. Additional restrooms will also be available.
3. This will be a physically taxing event. It includes a cross country invitational and a long day of Ultimate all-in-one. Please arrive prepared. This means bring plenty of water, sunscreen, etc.
4. T-shirts available for $15 each.
8. Cost: $7 per athlete to enter the cross country invitational, $100 maximum per gender. Please note that, even if it says you owe more than $200, you do not. Cross Country meet entries must be received no later than Sept. 27 at 11:59 PM via Milesplit.
$50 per team to enter the Ultimate Tournament.
Ultimate Tournament entries will be made via email with meet director Eric Hack (ehack@broadwateracademy.org). The tournament will be limited to the first 16 teams to enter plus two alternates. You will receive confirmation via email.
9. We will have a severe weather action plan in place in the event of hazardous conditions.
10. Athletic trainers and an EMT will be on site.
11. The concession stand will be open for food and drink purchases.
(All the above information is subject to change. I am open to any and all feedback. We are starting early to accommodate the Ultimate Tournament, but I am open to the idea of starting later.)
