3:00-3:45pm PACKET PICK-UP at the Finish Line area
3:45 pm COACHES MEETING at the Finish Line area
4:00 pm MIDDLE SCHOOL RACE (2.0 miles) Boys/Girls run
together (6th, 7th & 8th Grade)
4:25 pm GIRLS VARSITY RACE (3.0 miles)
5:10 pm BOYS VARSITY RACE (3.0 miles)
5:40 pm JV BOYS & GIRLS RACE (3.0miles) /Grades 9-12 that
are not your teams Top 7 Runners)
6:15 pm AWARDS CEREMONY

Payment: Payment should be sent via postal mail to Giles High
School, 1825 Wenonah Avenue, Pearisburg, Virginia 24134
ENTRY FEES: $60.00 for Boys varsity team and $60.00 for Girls
varsity team (team consist of 5 athletes). Middle School or JV will be an
additional $30. If you do not have a team then it will be $5.00 per runner
(includes Varsity, JV, and MS) with a maximum of $150.00 per school, no school
pays over $150.00 total for girls and boys combined.
AWARDS:
Top 3 teams Boys & Girls varsity race- Top 15 individuals
each race
Top 5 JV runners for both Boys & Girls race
Top 5 Middle School runners for both Boys & Girls race
Awards will be in the home stands at the football field after
the completion of all the races.
BUS PARKING: Park buses in front of the football field behind
Giles High School.
COURSE: The 3 mile course is basically two loops mostly grass
with one decent hill on the second loop. The start and finish are both on the
baseball field. The Middle school is basically the second loop of the varsity
course. The best place to watch the races is at the softball field. E-mail if
you would like me to send you a map or wait until the entries are closed and I
will be sending a map out.
TIMING: RunRoanoke.LCC will be providing the timing. All race
results will be posted on Milestat.
*VERY IMPORTANT: NO SOCCER OR FOOTBALLS ALLOWED AT THE MEET.
I can only allow a maximum of 22 schools to compete in this
meet because of the space restrictions on the starting line. Please sign up
early if you can.
