Coaches,
First, I would like to thank all who have participated in the peninsula relays track meet over the years. It has been a good fun meet that has attempted to be more accommodating than most. This year Bethel high school, the host, will also be coordinating the indoor and outdoor Peninsula District and Eastern Regional track meets. These tasks are extremely demanding and I have had the thought of canceling the meet this year. However, instead I have decided to change the format of the meet which I hope will make it more manageable on our part, and yet keep the meet as fun as it has been in the past. I have summarized the changes below:
1. Deleted the separation of AAA and AA/A division. Everyone will compete together.
2. Deleted all specialized events. Meet will run the standard outdoor events in the standard outdoor order.
3. Field Events will no longer be relays. The change mentioned in 1 will apply to field events also.
4. We will still have the following JV events: 4x100,4x200, 4x400 events.
5. Trophies will be given to each member of the top two relays, and top three individuals in their respective individual events.
6. Entries will be submitted per directathletics . Therefore entry deadlines will be strictly enforced.
