2019 District Championship Track Meet Information

Subject: Tidewater District Championship Track Meet - Varsity Only
When: Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 3 p.m. (Pole Vault Tuesday, May 14, 4:30 p.m. at New Kent High School/Inclement Weather Make-up Date- Thursday, May 16, 2019)
Location: Charles City High School, Charles City, VA
Admission: $6.00 or passes, acceptable passes are VIAAA,
VHSL, VHSCA, and Principal Pass
Schedule
2:30 p.m. - Coaches Scratch meeting (Scratches Only, No Additions)
3:00 p.m. - Field Events Begin (Pole Vault- Tuesday, May 14, 4:30 p.m. at New Kent High School)
4:00 p.m. - Running Event Finals Begin (Rolling Schedule)
Entries: Each school may enter up to three participants in each event. Teams may enter more than three athletes per event if all qualifiers have met the Tidewater District standard. All athletes and teams must have registered a mark at a track meet to be eligible (athletes with no times/distances will not be accepted). All marks/times will be verified (no time trials, practice times will be accepted.) Only marks from the 2019 outdoor season will be used.
Entry Deadline: All entries will be done on Milestat.com. Deadline is May 12, 2019, with all instructions on how to use Milestat.com to register your athlete on the page.

NOTE: Please double check your entries before you submit them into the system. It is your responsibility as the coach to make sure every one of your athletes has the opportunity to compete. If you need additional help on how to use Milestat.com registration, please contact Andre' Jones.
Scoring & Timing: We will be utilizing an F.A.T. timing system that will be operated. It is essential that you submit your entries prior to the deadline date to ensure accuracy and that all entries are entered into the system in a timely manner. Once again, if you have any questions, feel free to call or email. Changes will NOT be accepted after May 12, 2019.
Advancement to 1A Region A meet (for 1A Region A teams only): The top four athletes per event and the top four relays among 1A Region A teams automatically qualify for the 1A Region A event. Also, all athletes/relays who achieve the automatic regional standards also qualify for the meet.
