Held at Southern Campus Track: located between Middle School and High School
Coaches Meeting 4:30 pm at the Bull Pen
Meet Start Time: 5:30 Preliminaries and Field Events begin
Rain Date Monday May 6, 2019
Bus Parking: Back of High School Main Lot
Entry Fee: $175.00 per school. Checks payable to Stonewall Jackson High School.
Admissions: $5.00 for all. No charge for pre-school children.
Directions to Campus Track: Take I-81 south to exit 269. Turn right @ exit. You will see the school in front of you after traveling a very short distance. Coming I- 81 north to exit 269 Turn left off exit cross bridge and you will see school on the right. From 211: W to New Market. Turn RIGHT on US-11 N. Turn LEFT onto Caverns Rd. Cross over I-81 and turn RIGHT onto Stonewall Ln. SJHS is on the RIGHT. Track is in the back of the school.
Entries: 3 athletes per individual event
1 relay per school, there are 3 relays: 4 X 800, 4X100 and 4X400 for men and women
ALL EVENTS: Are contained within the perimeter of the Track Stadium.
Once running events begin ALL SPECTATORS will be asked to remain on the exterior of the track surface.
Athletic Trainer: Will be located near the bullpen area in center of field.
Entry Forms: Entries must be done via MILESTAT
Entry Deadline: Deadline for entries will be noon Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
**NO CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED ON FRIDAY.
**ONLY SCRATCHES. (See VHSL Guidelines for Participation Rules)
Sportsmanship, uniform, as well as electronic devices in competition area, rules will be expected to be enforced. Please prepare your athletes.
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the Top 6 athletes in each individual event. Medals will also be given to the top 3 relays.
T-Shirts: Shirts will be made on site. Inform your athletes so they can buy theirs while supplies last.
Concessions: The concessions stand will be open throughout the evening and will serve a variety of food and drink items.
Spikes: Spikes will be permitted no more than inch
First Aid: There will be a certified athletic trainer on site.
Limited Shade: Team Tents need to be up against the outside edges of the fence on the Middle school Side.
