The Nation's Only Same-Day Cross Country Invitational and Ultimate Tournament:
10:00 AM: Middle School Boys Race (2 Miles) NOW A DEVELOPMENTAL RACE, OPEN TO ALL AGES
10:30 AM: Middle School Girls Race (2 Miles) NOW A DEVELOPMENTAL RACE, OPEN TO ALL AGES
11:00 AM: High School Boys Race (5k) YOUR TOP 7 RUNNERS, OPEN TO GRADES 9-12
11:30 AM: High School Girls Race (5k) YOUR TOP 7 RUNNERS, OPEN TO GRADES 9-12
Approx. 12:15 PM: Cross Country Awards & Cookout Lunch
12:45 PM: Co-Ed Ultimate Tournament
Additional Information:
1. Due to its unique and taxing nature, participation in the Ultimate Tournament will require a liability waiver signed by all participating student-athletes and their parents/guardians. Please arrive prepared for the conditions of the day. Arrive with plenty of water, sunscreen, etc.
2. Although we will provide as much supervision as possible, Broadwater Academy is not responsible for the direct supervision of student-athletes from visiting schools. Coaches and parents are expected to be mindful of their student-athletes/childrens behavior and actions at all times. Two female locker rooms and one male locker room will be open throughout this event for shower and restroom facilities for athletes. Additional restrooms will also be available.
3. T-shirts available for $15 each.
4. Cost:
$7 per athlete to enter the cross country invitational, $100 maximum per gender. Even if the system says you owe more than $200, you do not. Cross country meet entries must be received no later than Sept. 25 at 11:59 PM via Milesplit.
$50 per team to enter the Ultimate Tournament.
Ultimate Tournament entries will be made via email with meet director Eric Hack (ehack@broadwateracademy.org). The tournament will be limited to the first 8 teams to enter plus two alternates. You will receive confirmation via email.
5. We will have a severe weather action plan in place in the event of hazardous conditions.
6. Athletic trainers will be on site.
7. The concession stand will be open for food and drink purchases.
