Hanover Polar Hawk Relays

Are you looking for a fun meet to end the regular season?

Do you want one last chance to qualify a relay for states or nationals?

Are you just tired of the same old track meets and looking for something different?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then join us for the 1st Annual Hanover Polar Hawk Relays on Saturday, February 8 at Hanover High School! This is a unique meet that you will be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the Commonwealth of Virginia!

Tentative Schedule of Events (Girls followed by Boys)

Distance Medley Relay

Mixed 4 X 400

4 x 800

Throwers Relay (4 x 100)

Sprint Medley Relay

4 X 1 Mile

4 X 400

Directions to Hanover High School

From the North: Take Exit 84A onto I-295 South, and then take exit 41 A from 295 onto Chamberlayne Road. Follow Chamberlayne Road for roughly 4 miles, and the school will be on your left.

From the South: Take I-95 North until exit 82 for Chamberlayne Road. Turn left onto Chamberlayne Road, follow for about 7.5 miles, and the school will be on your left.

From the East: Take I-64 West. Get off at exit 200 for I-295 North towards Washington. From I-295, take exit 41A for Hanover. Merge onto Chamberlayne Road, follow for about 4 miles, and the school will be on your left.

From the West: Take I-64 East. Get off at Exit 177 for I-295 South towards Washington. From 1-295, take exit 41A for Hanover. Merge onto Chamberlayne Road, follow for about 4 miles, and the school will be on your left.

Entry Fee

$25.00 per relay

$250.00 team fee (unlimited relays-you can enter multiple teams in events and enter all events)

Make checks payable to Hanover High School and put Polar Hawk Relays in the memo line.

BRING YOUR OWN BATONS!!! Starting blocks will be provided for sprint relays.
