Region 4D Indoor Track And Field Championships

Fieldhouse opens at 8:45am. Coaches meeting at9:15am. Field events at 9:45. Running at10:00am. (Schedule will be sent later)
Admission- $8.00
Passes- VHSCA-VHSL-VIAAA-VATA-VSBA- Principal State membership cards
OfficialsKey officials will be appointed by meet management(timer, starter,referee) Teams will be assigned field events to run off and to serve as turn judges. A jury of appeals will be announced.
Awards- 2 team trophies(Champions and runner-up)Medals to top 6 in individual events, top 3 relays. We will score 8 places this year.
Entries- each school is allowed two(2) entries per event. To enter more than 2 in an event ALL entries must meet the regional standards. Each school may enter only one relay team per event. Remember that you can use the best time of the season in a 3 or more team meet(as long as it is on Milestat) All entries should be verified on Milestat or the meet results should be sent to Tom Roth at Salem High School.
Entry procedure- You will enter the meet in two ways: once on the VHSL regional entry form which should be sent to Tom Roth at Salem High(troth@salem.k12.va.us) and once on Milestat. Both entries are due by 8:00pm on Monday, Feb.17.
Scratches- Email early scratches to Tom Roth after the deadline, but, before noon on Tuesday, Feb. 18. After this time scratches (without penalty) will be taken at the coaches meeting. No additions to entries will be allowed after the Feb. 11 deadline.
Qualifiers for State Meet- top 3 in each event and top 3 relay teams plus any athlete that has met the state standards in a qualifying meet.
