NO ENTRY FEE!!
There is no entry fee for this meet..so how do we fund it? We raise money by pre-selling sub sandwiches and drinks which can be picked up after the meet for those who ordered them.
DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS THIS MEET IS LIMITED TO VIRGINIA TEAMS ONLY. HOPE TO SEE OUR OUT OF STATE FRIENDS NEXT YEAR.
The course has some hills and is relatively challenging. It is made up of 90% grass with some gravel and blacktop.
Meet Schedule:
4pm - Middle School Combined 3200 meters
4:30pm - High School Boys 5K
5:15pm - High School Girls 5K
Awards:
Middle School Girls - Top 5 Individuals
Middle School Boys - Top 5 Individuals
Trophies to Top 2 High School Boys and Girls teams
Awards for Top 10 Indivduals in High Boys and Girls Races
Directions:
Traveling East on HWY 460 take Exit #1 or Bluefield; West Graham, also known as US 19 North. It is the next exit after the Comfort Inn. Travel approximately 1/2 mile to the bottom of the hill, turn right into Graham Recreation Park. The start and finish are located at the lower soccer field, flush toilets and additional parking at top of the park entrance.
Traveling West on HWY 460 take Exit #1 to US 19 North. If you pass the Comfort Inn you have went too far!
Follow US 19 North 1/2 mile to the bottom of the hill and turn right into Graham Recreation Park. The start and finish are located at the lower soccer field, flush toilets and parking at top of the park entrance.
COVID19 Restrictions and guidelines may require that we change the format of the meet and awards. Our #1 goal will still be to offer a meet that offers athletes a competitive, fun, rewarding and professional experience. Updates will be communicated as they become available.
