In a one day meet, a contestant may compete in any number of field events but shall be limited to participate in only three running events. Exception, a contestant who competes in the 3200-meter run may compete in only one other running event on the same day.
Long jump, triple jump, shot and disc will be 3 attempts with the top 9 moving to finals.
High jump and pole vault opening heights will be determined on entries when completed. You will receive opening heights on email and it will be listed on Milestat when they are determined. Boys and girls pole vault will be run at the same time.
Opening Heights: Girls high jump will open at 4-2, Boys high jump will open at 5-2 and pole vault will open at 6-0.
Please make sure your athletes have marks for all jumps, we will not allow run backs in these events. We do have distance marks painted on the runway for your convenience. Please make sure your athletes are informed of the check in/out procedures.
Standards: No standards will be used for the 2021 outdoor championship
Arrival On Campus: When you arrive on campus and exit the bus I will have a folder for you. I will have wrist bands for coaches and athletes. You will need these to enter the track. The only entrance to the track will be in the gate closest to the ticket booth.
10:45 the facility will open
11:00 implement weigh in. Will be located at the gate near the finish line. There will be a table there for implements to be checked and weighed.
Coaches meeting at 11:15 at the finish line.
Field Events will start at 12:00.
Girls shot, boys disc, girls long, boys long, girls high and pole vault will be contested first.
Followed by girls disc, boys shot, boys and girls triple and boys high
Running events will start at 1:30 on a rolling schedule with girls followed by boys.

Inclement weather: If we are under a delay for any weather related reason teams will be asked to seek shelter either on the bus or in the CHS gym. When we are cleared there will be an announcement allowing athletes and coaches to reenter the facility.
Advancing to state: The top 4 individuals in each event and the top 4 relays will advance to the VHSL state championship.
Timing: Will be provided by Snaptiming
Team Camps: Team camps will be located on the home side bleachers (press box side). We ask that no athletes be sitting on the visitor side bleachers that area will be reserved for spectators.
Warm-ups: We will allow warm ups on the infield but please have your athletes not congregate or sit around in this area. Distance kids that need a bit more space can warm up on the Huckleberry trail that now connects to our campus. Please remind your athletes that only water is allowed on the infield and track area.
Admission: Admission to the meet will be 5.00 per person.
Coaching Boxes: We will have an area marked off for field events. Please stay in that dedicated area. You will be able to see/coach from these spots for each individual field event.
Concessions: We will not be providing any concessions at this meet. Please make sure your athletes plan accordingly.
