The meet is currently full is not accepting any more registrations. Please check out our other meet on September 18th. We will be running the upper course at that meet.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are being forced to limit the TOTAL number of runners for the day to 500. We promise to do EVERYTHING possible to accommodate as many runners as possible.

Title Sponsor: Fleet Feet

We are pleased to announce that Fleet Feet Richmond will be the title sponsor of the event. Fleet Feet will be on-site with a full setup providing run gait analysis, shoe fitting, sales, and more. There will also be a host of other vendors on-site.

Purpose: This event is a fundraiser for Hanover High School Track and XC Teams. 100% of proceeds go directly to the support of the team. We thank you in advance!

Awards: The Top 3 individuals of the high school and middle school races will be given metals.

The top team in each division will be awarded a custom engraved plaque.

The top 6 Elementary school runners will be awarded a medal.

Top 3 runners of each race will be interviewed post-race and posted on Milestat.com!

Entertainment: We will have music provided throughout the day.

Schedule

7:15 am - Course Opens

7:30 am - Packet Pick-Up

8:30 am - Coaches Meeting

9:00 am Girls Middle School Championship 4K Race

9:30 am Boys Middle School Championship 4K Race

10:00 am - Girls Race of Champions 5K

10:30 am - Boys Race of Champions 5K

11:00 am - Girls Emerging Elite 5K

11:30 pm - Boys Emerging Elite 5K

Divisions:

Race of Champions (Girls/Boys) - Top 20 Ranked Teams. 7 Runners per team

Emerging Elite (Girls/Boys) - The next 5 runners of the top 20 ranked teams. 5 Runners per team

Middle School (Girls/Boys) - Top 25 runners per gender

NOTE: Top 20 ranked teams (field of 140 runners) chosen based on meet management's discretion will be placed in Race of Champions division races. Each team will be allowed 7 runners. The next 5 runners (field of 100 runners) of the top 20 ranked teams will be placed in the Emerging Elite division races. Select top-ranked individuals may also be placed in the Race of Champions race without their team who were not selected for the ROC race. A list of teams in each division will be posted on MileStat.com on Wednesday, September 8th.

School Limits: Meet will be limited as stated above.

Home-Schooled Athletes: This meet is VHSL sanctioned for Virginia Member schools only. No other states will be allowed to run in the sanctioned portion of the meet. This is done to allow for the Pacers Home School team to compete. If you need further explanation, please call Tim at 407-748-4663.

Sanctioning: This meet will be VHSL sanctioned for Virginia schools only. NOTICE TO VIRGINIA MEMBER SCHOOLS. You are hereby notified that home-schooled athletes will be competing in the high school division. If your school does not agree to allowing home-schooled athletes to compete, please let the meet director know ASAP. Timcrytser@gmail.com

Individual Entries: High school coaches may enter individuals instead of their full squad into this event. Only high school coaches and no athlete or parent can enter an individual athlete into the meet to compete. Girls individuals with 5K best times under 20 minutes may run in the ROC race, while girls individuals with 5K PR's over 20 minutes may run in the EE race. Boys individuals with 5K best times under 17 minutes may run in the ROC, while boys individuals with 5K PR's over 17 minutes may run in the EE race

Race Limitations: 7 runners per team in the Champions race. 5 runners per team in EE. Middle school races are limited to the top 25 per gender.

Entry Fees:

High School Division (includes home-schooled runners) - $10 per runner entered. $350 max per school.

Middle School Division - $10 per runner entered. $150 max per school.

Registration:  Entries for all divisions will be done online through milestat.com entry system.

Host School: Hanover High School, Mechanicsville, VA

Course Description: The course is rolling terrain with mostly grass and rock/mulch trail. Every mile is clearly marked as well as every 1000 meters. The course is set up to be spectator friendly with a signature hill which always provides a nice challenge.
