VICTORY AT YORKTOWN INVITATIONAL

REGISTRATION: All entries will be done online at www.va.milesplit.com Registration must be entered on Milestat.com by Wednesday, April 20, 2002, at midnight. 4 Athletes per gender per event per school. For FIELD events, restrictions include 3 Athletes per gender per event per school. One relay team per gender per event.

ENTRY FEE: $250 per school or $150 per Single-gender Team. Checks payable to York High School. Mail payment to York High School, ATTN: Victory at Yorktown T&F, 9300 George Washington Memorial HWY, Yorktown, VA 23692

RULES: In accordance with NFHS/VHSL. Sanctioned by the Virginia High School League. There will be Prelims in the 100m Dash and 100/110 High Hurdles. The top eight times will advance to the finals.

FACILITY: 400-meter all-weather track with eight lanes. One all-weather runway for PV and long/triple jumps. Mantronix Sports Agency will provide fully automatic timing. Live.Athetic.Net will provide live results. Tents will be allowed behind the school on the practice football field and around the baseball field; no tents are allowed inside the fence line of Bailey's Field.



Concession stand will be available - cash only. Drinks, snacks and sandwiches. Kona Ice truck will be on site also.

MEET DETAILS: spikes - 1/4 inch pyramid only. VHSL uniform regulations. Starting blocks will be available. Long/Triple Jump, Shot, and Discus will receive four attempts with no finals. Throwers and PV must bring their own implements. All implements will be subject to inspection for weight/certification.

NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE MIDDLE IN-FIELD AREA (FOOTBALL FIELD) AFTER THE COACHES MEETING. COACHES MEETING WILL BE CENTER OF THE 50-YARD LINE. ONLY MEET OFFICIALS AND ATHLETES ACTUALLY COMPETING WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION AREAS DURING THE MEET.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The schedule below is tentative. An update will be provided after registration closes. Start times are approximate. Meet may run-up to an hour ahead of schedule. Please have your athletes ready to compete and at the Clerk of the Course for check-in. No events will be reopened after scoring.
