Meet Information
Hosts: Dinwiddie and Prince George High Schools
Date: May 2, 2009. Field events begin at 9:00. Running events begin at 10:00. Running events are sections on time. Meet runs on a rolling schedule.
Facility: Prince George High School, 7801 Laurel Spring Road, Prince George, VA 23875: 8-lane all-weather track with fully automated timing, concrete throwing areas and two jumping pits and pole vault area have all-weather runways. A concession stand will be open during the meet. Adequate restroom facilities are available on site. Playing of boom boxes or radios not permitted. Electronic devices are not permitted in the competition areas.
Equipment: Athletes must use the starting blocks supplied by meet management. Throwing implements must be weighed no later than 8:45 the morning of the meet.
Sanction and Rules: VHSL sanctioned. Meet is governed under VHSL rules.
Entries: Three athletes per event and one relay team per event. JV events are for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students. Athletes competing in JV events are not eligible to compete in varsity events.
Entry Procedure: Entries will be handled through Milestat (http://www.milestat.com). Entry window is April 1 through midnight April 27. No entries or changes will be accepted by FAX, mail, or telephone. Additions will not be accepted after the entry deadline, including at the meet. Performance lists will be posted on Milestat.
