Race Fees

Runners registered before July 26th-We would really like to get more young people running out there, so we are planning on making the entry fee $12 for people under 20, and $15 for all other participants. Please note that there is a discount for teams of 3-7 people. Teams can't be registered on race day.
Runners registered after July 26th-Runners under 20:$15. Runners over 20: $18

Teams

Teams will consist of 3-7 people, and will be scored using the top 3 finishers from each team. All members of the winning team will receive gift certificates. To encourage teams, this year the fee will be $12 for each person on the team over 20, and $10 for team members under 20. We would really like to have some high schools in the mix of teams. This would be a chance for those who have graduated to run with the team that is still there, or for a group that just graduated to run against the current team. If you have any questions email us at runforsight@yahoo.com.

The Courses

The mile course runs behind granby and into the neighborhood and finishes back at granby. The 5k course runs behind granby into the neighborhood and then into riverpoint, there is a water station a little past the midway point. This course also finishes where it starts(Course Record). Both races will have lead bikers and a lead police motorcycle to stop any traffic, there are also marshalls at every corner and intersection to direct the runners and to direct traffic. There will also be a police officer on a motorcycle riding behind the last finishers so that nobody gets left on the course. Course Map (now in easy to print pdf format)

Refreshments

In the middle of the course there will be a water station. At the finish line there will be tables with bottled water and fruit, and possibly some other goodies.
