Eligibility: Each school may enter up to four (4) athletes per individual event and 1 relay team. To enter more than 4 entries in an event, ALL entries must meet the District Standard. Entries: Entries will be made using MileStat with McKinley Johnson Jr in charge of entries.
Entries are due no later than Monday, May 16th, 2022 by 12:00 pm. Meet information is posted on MileStat.Any corrections, near qualifiers or scratches must be emailed before 9 am on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 to McKinley Johnson Jr at mckinleyjohnsonjr@gmail.com. At this time entries will be final and no additions will be made. Please send completed VHSL District Verification Forms, Scratches only can be made at the coaches meeting. Coaches will turn in a Sportsmanship Form and an Equipment Certification Form at the coaches meeting. The forms are part of this packet. They will also be available at the coaches meeting.
Team Area: Each school should set up their Team Camp within the Tennis courts behind the Bunker Hill scoreboard. When not competing, all athletes should not be on the infield or in the bleachers. Athletes will be assigned bib numbers. Only athletes with bib numbers will be allowed on the infield during competition as well as allowed access to the track. Unauthorized individuals will not be allowed on the infield.
Each school will need to provide workers for the meet. The assignments are listed below.
Brookville- FAT Timing/Clerking/Awards
Amherst - Boys and Girls PV
Rustburg- Boys and Girls HJ
Glass- Boys and Girls Shot (3 throws, 7 to Finals)
Heritage/LCA- Boys and Girls Long Jump (3 jumps, 7 to Finals)
Liberty/ JF- Boys and Girls Triple Jump (3 jumps, 7 to Finals)
Exchange Zone for 4x100: EC Glass, Brookville, Liberty
Starting Heights:
Girls HJ: 4-0 Girls PV: 6-0
Boys HJ: 5-2 Boys PV: 6-6
Check-in: Check-in will be set up near the start line for the 100m dash, on the outside of the fence. Athletes must check in to get their hip number by the second call. They must then be at the check-in area at the third call to be led to the start line. Field events are to check in at the event.
Bus Parking: Busses can unload their teams by the high school basketball gymnasium. Once unloaded the bus can park in the front of the school or in the senior parking lot. Team Personnel: All team personnel, managers, scorekeepers, etc. must enter with the team.
