Meet Information

Distance: 5k and 10K, men's and women's, High School and College

To Register:

Entry Fee: $75.00 per High School/college team ($150.00 if you are bringing a boys and girls team). $20.00 per athlete if there is no full team. Please make checks out to Mountain Gateway Education Foundation. Open Race: Entry fee is $20.00 per individual. Entry fee (cash only) is to be paid on race day and then sign a waiver form. A bib number will be issued so you can run the race. Registration for open athletes begins at 9:00 am and ends at 9:30 am., at the venue. Please do not mail any checks for the open race to the address below. Coaches from teams entered in the invitational meet can run for FREE. Just sign a waiver form and get a bib number
Mail check to: Mountain Gateway Education Foundation, 1000 College Drive, Clifton Forge, VA 24422High School runners must be 9-12th grade. College runners must be enrolled in a college program.

Event Schedule:

9:00am until 1000 Team and individual check in

10:00 am Coaches Meeting at the Scoring Tent (near the Finish Line)

10:30 am Start of the high school women's 5K

11:15 am Start of the high school men's 5k

12:45 pm Start of college women's 10K

1:30 pm Start of the college men's 10K

 2:00 pm Awards Ceremony at scoring tent

 Course Map: Working (generally flat terrain, open fields, wide dirt road through woods)

Awards:

Top 10 Male and Top 10 Femalezin the High School races will receive medals

Trophies to the Top High SchoolxTeams Male and Female

Top ten College males andxfemales receive medals

Trophies for the top collegexmen's and women's team

CONCESSIONS: snacks and drinks will be available throughout thexmeet.
