Tuscarora Morven Meet 2022

Tuscarora is hosting the meet at Morven between Broad Run, Dominion, Loudoun

Valley, Stone Bridge, Freedom and Park View on Wednesday October. The girls will start at 5:30 pm - The boy's race will start after all the girls finish at

approximately 6:15 pm. Please review the information below with regards to the

meet.

   Driving
  
  Directions:

  From Ashburn:  Take the Dulles Toll
  
  Road/Greenway (VA-267) West. Stay left toward Leesburg/Warrenton to merge onto
  
  US-15 S/VA-7 West (exit #1A). Continue approximately 2 miles. Take the VA-7
  
  Business exit toward Leesburg and turn RIGHT onto VA-7 Business/West Market St.
  
  Turn LEFT onto Fairview St. NW. At the second stop sign, turn LEFT onto Old
  
  Waterford Rd. Continue past Morven Park's pedestrian entrance and enter at the
  
  main vehicle entrance about mile down Old Waterford Road, on the right.

   From 15 South: 

  Take Route 15 north to
  
  U.S. 15 S/Virginia 7 W ramp to Warrenton/Winchester.  Merge onto US-15 S/VA-7 W/Leesburg Bypass.  Take
  
  the VA-7 BUS exit toward Leesburg.  Turn right onto VA-7
  
  BUS E/W Market St.  Turn left onto Fairview St. NW.  Turn left onto
  
  State Rt 698/Old Waterford Rd.  Turn right onto Southern Planter Ln

  Rd and park in the lot to the left of the mansion with the buses. $5 Per car -

  Course
  
  Description: It is a one loop 5K course with flats, steady up-hills, some wet areas
  
  and some downhills. 

  Scoring: Tuscarora
  
  will use Racine Timing Systems to record times of your 10 designated runners
  
  who will be entered on the spreadsheet and will receive a timing chip. Results will be
  
  provided to teams by Thursday afternoon.

  Change Deadline: Monday, August 29, 2022 at noon.

  Coaches' responsibilities before and during the meet:

  • Upload runners into Milestat.  
  • Handout bibs and safety pins to the correct athletes.  
  • Collect your own splits if you want that
    
    information for all runners out of the indicated ten.

  Please make sure your team picks up after themselves and leave nothing
  
  on the course.
