Meet Information
Location: Town Park (a.k.a. Mountain Park) 1100 20th Street- Grottoes ,VA 24441
Schools: Blue Ridge Christian, Redeemer Classical, Broadway, East Rockingham, Eastern Mennonite, Harrisonburg, Spotswood, and Turner Ashby.
Parking: ALL VEHICLES (including buses) must park in the lot near the ball fields as you enter the park.Please DO NOT park in the parking lots at the back of the park so they can remain open for other visitors.
Meet Schedule:
3:30pm Course Opens-Team packets will be available and will include a course map.
4:30 pm Recognition of Harrisonburg High School Seniors.
4:55 pm Recognition of ALL City/County Senior Girls at the starting line.
5:00 pm Girls Blue Race (maximum of 10 entries per team).
5:30 pm Recognition of ALL City/County Senior Boys at the starting line.
5: 35 pm Boys Blue Race (maximum of 10 entries per team).
6:10 pm. Mixed Red Race (unlimited entries per team).
Notes: Other schools do not need to be present for the HHS senior recognition.
There are only two divisions to register for on Milestat. Register ALL your JV and varsity runners in one event.
Awards:
Awards will be given at the conclusion of the Mixed Red Race.
The top 15 finishers in the blue division (girls and boys) will receive medals.
The top 3 finishers in the mixed red division (girls and boys) will receive ribbons.
Overall team winners in the BLUE races will receive a trophy.
Course Map:
1st Mile= White , 2nd Mile= Red, 3rd Mile= Blue
Note: There have been 2 changes to the racecourse: 1) The starting line has been moved to the left side of the pavilion. 2) The runners will turn right instead of running across the road to complete the third mile.
