Dear Coaches,
We are so excited to be bringing back the Lake Braddock Hall of Fame Invite! It's been a few years, and we are grateful that so many outstanding teams chose to attend our meet. I am not sure if this email made it through, so I am posting here-- A few housekeeping items:
1.) Weather may be iffy, in case of a thunderstorm coaches should escort their athletes into the gym through door 12, directly across from the track.
2.) We will have a coaches meeting at 8:30 near the starting line. Please make scratches at the table when you get your packet - nobody likes empty lanes or small sections in the longer races, so please do your best to scratch any athletes/relays that you will not be competing.
3.) Athletic trainers will be located near the finish line.
4.) Keep all of your athletes and coaches out of the infield unless they are competing, or have been put there by the clerk. We run the discus inside the track and do not want people getting hurt, and do not want a crowd inside. There are a number of warm up fields in the area below the track.
5.) Results will be posted on www.milestat.com at the conclusion of the meet.
6.) Breakfast and lunch will be provided to coaches-- we will have an assortment of bagels and breakfast foods and caetering from Glory Days Grill.
7.) Field event info is as follows:
LG: 14(g) 18(b)
TJ: 28(g) 36(b)
SP: 25(g) 35(b)
DT: 65(g) 95 (b)
8.) There is a grassy area on the far end of the track (right of entry) where tents can be set up beyond the fence
9.) The building is not open, but there are a number of porta potties available for use.
10.) T-shirts will be for sale for $15
11.) Concessions will be open.
Sincerely,
Cheryl MillerMeet Director, Lake Braddock Hall of Fame Invitational
