Scoring and Uniforms: We will follow the NFHS Rules Book for Scoring and Uniforms. See the NFHS T&F/XC rules book if necessary.
State Meet Qualifiers: The top 3 teams and the top 5 individuals not on the 3 teams will advance to the 2A State Meet.
State Entry form: The paper copy will be in each packet and should be given to Whitney Ball before leaving the course. Each coach will also need to register every qualifying runner online at milestat.com. The paper copies will be sent to the State director as a means of checking online entries.
Parking: Spectators will park at the top of the dam in the field across from the Park Headquarters (White House). There will be Park Staff and volunteers directing where to go. Buses will drop off athletes on Resting Tree Drive (This is the next road to the left of the main Sugar Hollow Park entrance.). The buses can park on Resting Tree Drive.
Directions:
From Interstate 81 North- Take exit 7 and turn left at red light at bottom of the ramp. Take right at second red light on top of hill (Lee Highway). Follow for about a mile. Sugar Hollow Park will be on left. Course starting area will be at top of Dam to the left behind the pine trees.
From Interstate 81 South- Take exit 7 and turn right at red light at bottom of the ramp. Turn right at next red light at top of hill (Lee Highway). Follow for about a mile. Sugar Hollow Park will be on left. Course starting area will be at top of Dam to the left behind the pine trees.
