Meet Information
Meet Starts at 4:45 pm (will postpone start if necessary and start running events 30 mins after field events start... 4x800 will start 15 mins after field events start) We are aware AD's have a 5:00 start time. If we can start this meet at 4:45, we will.
Radios will be distributed to Run Roanoke, Staging, Starter, and Announcer to ensure quick communication to help the events run smoothly and in a timely manner. Water will be provided for all, along with cups beyond the finish line. Athletic training staff will be available if needed at the event.

Boys Shot Put followed by Girls Shot Put

Long Jump/Triple Jump: (Halifax, George Washington) and Coach Carter from MV on the other

Hurdles- All available coaches please help clear and set-up hurdles at that point in time, as this is time consuming. We will try to have extra help as well.

Uniforms- Uniform rules will be followed
Running Events: 4x800 starting @ 5:00 (5:15 if field is postponed to 5). Events will be on a Rolling Schedule
Girls followed by Boys, all events are timed finals (Will run boys and girls together when it makes sense) All events will run from slow to fast

Entries for meet need to be done through Milestat.com, under the meet page. Entry deadline is on Milestat.

Coaches Meeting: There will be a coaches meeting prior to the first running event Each school will be expected to run off an event.
Entries per Event Each school may enter up to 3 athletes per running event. Each school may enter one relay per event. Jumping events maximum 3 entries per event. Throwing event maximum is 4 entries.
Starting height for High Jump: Girls 4'0" Boys 5'4"
Field events: No finals. All first legal attempts will be marked. All other attempts will be marked only if they meet the minimum distances.
Minimum Marked Distances will be discussed at coaches meeting. MINIMUMS: Long Jump-Girls (10 feet) Boys (15 feet) Triple Jump-- No minimum because of the low number of triple jumpers so far (will adjust depending on number of entries).
Shot Put-- Girls (20 feet) Boys (33 feet) Discus-- Girls (60 feet) Boys (85 feet)
