 2023 Central Invitational Track Meet

Central High School

Coaches meeting 4:00 p.m.

Awards: Top 3 individual and top 3 relays will receive medals for each race. Top 2 teams will receive a plaque. There will be awards for top runners and field performers as well.

Entry and fee: $75 per school. Boys or girls' only fee of $50.Individual entries $10 per athlete (less than 5 on a team).

Pay the day of race (Central High School).

Limited numbers of entries per event per team - 3 Athletes per event and 1 relay team.

VHSL rules apply.

FAT timing by Network Timing, LLC.

Concessions will be available.

Restrooms located at the field house adjacent to the track.

Only pyramid spikes allowed on track surface.

Deadline to enter:Tuesday, April 25th at 9:00 pm

Meet Information:

Admission: $5

This meet is sanctioned by the VHSL. The uniform and jewelry rule will be enforced.

Appeals will be handed to Referee/Official and given to Jury of Appeals.

Please keep all athletes, coaches and spectators away from Scoring Table. If a coach or athlete interferes with the meet competition they will be disqualified.

No additions will be made day of meet, only scratches.

Relay Cards will be included in each schools packet and must be turned into the Clerks table before they get their team's hip numbers.

Coaches, we will have a Marshall on the infield (please keep all spectators and athletes (not in an event) off the infield). Tents may be set up in surrounding areas except infield and around timing/scoring area. We will post results immediately at the Concession Stand.RAIN DATE will be on May 10th . We will run this meet unless severe weather comes.

4:30 Boys shot, girls discus, girls high jump, boys long jump and girls long jump

Followed by: girls shot, boys discus, boys high jump, boys triple jump and girls triple jump.

5:45 Girls and Boys 4x800 Relay

6:15 Girls 100m Hurdles

6:30 Boys 110m Hurdles

6:45 Girls 100m Dash

6:55 Boys 100m Dash

7:15 Girls/Boys 1600m Run

7:30 Girls/Boys 4x100m Relay
