Meet Information

Course Map

The Patriot XC Invite is a 2-mile race that is 99% grass and dirt. The course is at Patriot High School. The course has a few good hills and is a good spectator course. With the heat and this being the first meet for many, a two-mile xc race is the perfect start to the season. The race is Friday morning due to Labor Day weekend. Prince William County Schools are closed on Friday for the Labor Day Weekend, so we will have the meet on that morning.

Awards to the top 20 in the A race, the Top ten in the B race, and the top five in the C race. Team trophy for the winning team in the A race. The top five are scored and the sixth and seventh runners are displaced.

There is an A, B, and C race with ten allowed in the A race and ten in the B race. The C race is unlimited. The A race should be for your fastest runners, the B race should be for the next ten, and the C race is for the rest of your runners. You can place athletes in the race deemed more appropriate for the athletes as long as you don't exceed meet limits.

The race will be chipped-timed.
