EVENT NAME: 2023 Richmond XC Festival / USATF-Virginia Championships
(formerly Pole Green Park 5K Run/Walk)

This event (Richmond XC Festival, formerly the Pole Green Park 5K) will serve as the USATF-Virginia Association Open, Masters, and Junior (U20) Championship and will be held concurrently with the Spider Alumni Open College Races.
Open runners and 2023 USATF-Virginia members will be split-out into separate results (Open Run/Walk and USATF-Virginia results) and will not be part of the college races. Unattached runners, college club, open club and post collegiate runners will have their own results.

SCHEDULE:
7:00AM- Course opens; Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration Begins
7:45AM- Race Day Registration Ends
8:00AM- Pole Green Park Run/Walk (4K)/USATF-VA Championships/RVA XC Festival
(This 8:00AM event will serve as the USATF-VA Championships and open run/walk)
9:05AM- National Anthem
9:15AM- College Men's 6K
9:50AM- College Women's 4K
The 2023 Pole Green Park Run-Walk / USATF-Virginia Championships (Open to the Public) will be held concurrently with the Spider Alumni Open. The race distances will be 4K (Women and Men). The event will utilize the same 2K loop course used for the 2023 and 2024 USATF National Cross Country Championships (scheduled for January 20, 2024). This 2K loop format will provide an opportunity for coaches and athletes to preview the course to be used on January 20, 2024 to select team USA for the 2024 World Athletics Cross Country Championships.
ENTRY FEE: UNDER 18 years of age - $15.00/person
OVER 18 years of age - $20.00/person
Race Day- $25.00/Person
Due to the size of the event, there are no team discounts.
