Central Virginia Middle School Invitational

Packet Pickup: 9:00 am.
Coaches Meeting: 10:00 am.
Girls 4K Race: 10:30 am, unlimited entries.
Boys 4K Race: 11:15 am, unlimited entries.
Awards Presentation: 12:30 pm.
Site: Seneca Park, Ewing Drive, Rustburg, VA.
Directions to Site:
If coming from north of Lynchburg, take Rt. 29 south. Ewing Drive is 1.2 miles past the intersection of Rt. 29 and Rt. 24. (Yellow Branch Elementary School is at that intersection. After drop offs, buses will park there.) Turn left onto Ewing Drive and go .5 mile. Drop off is just past the cemetery. If coming from south of Lynchburg, take Rt. 29 north. Turn right onto Ewing Drive and go .5 mile. Drop off is just past the cemetery.
Course Description:
The course is on rolling hills along wooded trails and open fields: all grass and trails. Spikes are recommended. There will be two log jumps: one for each of the first two miles. The trails are wide and passing will be easy. Every
mile is marked.
Awards:
Top 15 individuals in each race will receive medals and top three teams will receive trophies.
Timing: Blue Ridge Timing.
Entry Fee: $75.00 per team: $150.00 for both girls and boys teams. $15.00 per athlete for teams with less than 5 athletes.

Parking: $5.00 per vehicle. Please inform parents and spectators coming to the meet.
Concessions: Cookout: hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks and chips will be available for athletes and spectators to buy. Coaches eat free.
Tee Shirts: Tee Shirts will be sold.
