Entry Fees: $100.00
Course: ~2.1 miles. First two miles and final straightway of the Third Battle 5k course. Gravel and grass surfaces.
Location: Third Battle of Winchester adjacent to Millbrook High School. Address is 251 First Woods Dr, Winchester, VA 22603
Coaches Meeting: All coaches are asked to meet at the start/finish line at 5:00. PLEASE BE PROMPT.
Dressing Facilities: There will be no dressing facilities available, so please dress prior to departure. Portajohns will be available for restrooms
Water: Please bring your own water coolers and cups or bottles.
T-Shirts: 2023 James Wood Invitational t-shirts and other merchandise will be sold at the meet and are printed on-site by American Screen Printing.
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, September 5th for middle school teams.
Entering athletes:We will use online entries and you can access the link and full directions using the Milestat event calendar link.Please include athlete's year in school. Entry code will be sent to all competing teams.
Entry Fee: Please mail entry fee by September 1 or bring with you to the meet.
Chip Timing:Chip timing will be provided by Shenandoah Valley Runners. Please be sure chips are securely attached to each runner's shoe. Coaches are asked to collect all team chips and return them to the press box area as soon as possible after the race. If any chips are lost, the school will be contacted and charged for the chip.
