When: Wednesday, October 25 at 11 am

Where: Sherando Park next to Sherando High School



Who: Brentsville, Fauquier, James Wood, John Handley, Kettle Run, Liberty,

Manassas Park, Meridian, Millbrook, Sherando, Skyline, Warren County


Course: A 5K course run on the grounds on the grounds of Sherando Park and

Sherando High School. The course will consist of grassy areas, dirt trails, and

limited asphalt. The course will have long flat areas and also inclines and

drops through the wooded areas. The course is a spectator friendly course

with multiple opportunities to see the runners.

Entries: Please submit entries to MileStat.com. Instructions will be sent as the

meet approaches. Entries are due no later than 8pm, Monday, October 23,

2023. Seven runners can be entered in each varsity race. There are

unlimited entries in the JV race, but each entry should be able to

complete the 5k course without walking.


Fees: There are no entry fees or admission for spectators.



Awards: There will be medals given to the top 3 individuals finishers in each varsity

race and the top 15 finishers will be announced as All-District. Team results

will be announced for the top 3 placing teams in each varsity race. A

symbolic trophy will be presented to both the boys and girls NWD champion,

but the winning teams will be responsible for securing a trophy for their

school. The championship teams will be based on all 12 schools and not

distinguished by their division.



T-Shirts: Northwestern District Championship T-shirts will be available for purchase.

Please provide a roster of all participants to the meet director by October 15

for names to appear on the T-shirts. This is different that your official entry

to milestat.com.

Facilities: You may bring a tent. Port-a-johns will be available for your bathroom needs.

Please pick-up all trash before leaving for the day. Athletic trainers

will be on site. Please bring your own tape.


Parking: All buses should enter in to Sherando park and stage at the FCPRD swimming

pool. Spectators will park at the Sherando park soccer fields and the little

league complex. There will be no parking at Sherando High School.

11:30 a.m. Varsity Boys (7 Runners)

12:15 p.m. JV Boys* (Unlimited)

1:00 p.m. Awards

*These races will run simultaneously with a staggered start.
