Meet Information
This a Bay Rivers District Meet for Poquoson, Jamestown, Warhill and Smithfield. All Races to be held at Windsor Castle Park in Smithfield.
There will be three races. The first two are Varsity Races, with no entry limit (so you may run more than 7 runners). The aim with this is to help you solidify/sort your rosters and build your developing near-varsity runners' abilities. That being said, please limit this to Boys under 25 mins and Girls under 28 unless they are within your top 10. The third is a Sub-Varsity and 8th Grade Race and is on our 2 Mile Course.
Please enter Windsor Castle Park via Cedar instead of Jericho Ave if bringing your team on a bus. Please do not park bus on Dan Avenue or on Jericho Ave at the Race Crossing/Intersection (which will also be marked with cones). Parking attendants will guide you to the open field opposite starting/finish line instead.
We'll do Team Check-in/Packet Pickup beginning at 3pm in the open field near Start Line. Brief Coaches Mtg at 3:30pm. Warm-up area and Porta Johns are near Main Parking Lot.
- 4:00pm - Girls Varsity Race - 5000m
- 4:30pm - Boys Varsity Race - 5000m
- 5:00pm - Girls & Boys(combined) JV and 8th Grade Race - 2 Mile Course
