VHSL Class 2 - Region A Championship

Address: Bruton High School, 185 E. Rochambeau Dr. Williamsburg, VA 23188
Directions: From Interstate 64, take Exit 238 (Camp Perry), Turn Right onto Rochambeau Dr. Turn Left into Bruton High School in approximately 1.5 miles.
Bus Parking: Athletes can be dropped off at the big rock near the exit ramp of the school. Buses can then drive around and park in the designated area shown on the map. Please do not park on the gravel road or block the road entrance.
Spectator Parking: All spectators may use the Bruton parking lot on the far side of the high school, near the stadium. As you enter the campus, stay to your left and park in the parking lot area. To enter the stadium, walk around the front of the building until you see the stadium entrance.
Team Tents: Tents can be setup inside the softball field area or in the stadium bleachers. Do not go to the track.
Course Opens: 11:30am
Coaches Meeting (near the concession stand): 12:30pm
Girls Race: 1:00pm
Boys Race: 1:45pm
Entry Deadline / Limits: Registration closes on Oct. 29th. You may register 10 runners but only 7 can run in the race. School issued uniform tops must be worn.
Timing / Bibs: Team packets can be picked up at registration near the concession stand. Packets will include bibs, pins, course map, and State meet information. We will be using chip timing. The chips will be attached to the bib.
Awards: Award ceremony will take place at the concession stand area, following the boys race. Regional Championship trophy for 1st place Girls and Boys team. All-Region certificates for the Top 15 finishers in boys and girls.
Concession Stand: The concession stand will be open, offering small snacks and drinks.
State Qualifying: Top 3 teams (boys & girls) qualify for the State Meet. Top 5 individuals NOT on the top teams will qualify as individuals for the State Meet. Coaches must submit their official State entry form to the Regional Director before leaving the Regional Meet. The 2022 2A State Meet will be held on Saturday November 12th at Green Hill Park, Salem, VA.
