The Judy Thomas Invitational will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2024, at Patrick Henry High School in Glade Spring, Va. The rain date is tentatively set for Monday, April 8th

When entering the meet, you must enter each individual athlete on your team in the events that they will be competing in. Your athletes will not be entered into the meet if you only add your school name to the list.

Entries - 3 athletes per individual events, 1 relay team per relay event

Spikes - 1/4 inch only

Please do not go by what milestat tells you that you owe for the meet because it's usually wrong. It's $100.00 per team. If you have both a girls and boys team it will be $150.00. Four athletes are considered a team. If you have less than four it will be $15.00 per athlete.

*** POLEVAULT - WE NOW HAVE A BRAND NEW POLE VAULT PIT AT OUR TRACK. IT IS BEHIND THE VISITORS BLEACHERS.

***WE ALSO HAVE A BRAND NEW TRACK SO WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING ABLE TO COMPETE ON THIS BRAND NEW SURFACE

AWARDS:

Top two schools, boys and girls, will receive plaques and the top six individuals will receive medals along with the top three relays.

*** When entering events, we are doing the Swedish Relay which is listed on the events as the 1,000 meter sprint relay (100, 200, 300, 400). MAKE SURE YOU REMEMBER THIS WHEN ENTERING THIS RELAY BECAUSE IT'S NOT 200, 200, 400, 800. IT'S 100, 200, 300, 400.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

2:00 - Packet pick up, weigh in of implements

2:15 - Coaches meeting

2:30 - Boys shot put, girls discus, girls high jump,

boys long jump, and girls long jump, girls pole vault

Followed by Girls shot put, boys discus,

boys high jump, boys triple jump, girls

triple jump, and boys pole vault

3:00 - Girls and Boys Swedish Relay (100, 200, 300, 400) 1,000 meter sprint medley.

3:15 - Girls and Boys 4 x 800 relay

4:00 - National Anthem, Finals in all running events.

Athletes report to the bullpen by the 2nd call.

4:10 - Girls 100 hurdles

4:30 - Boys 110 hurdles

4:50 - Girls/Boys 100 meters

5:10 - Girls/Boys 1600 meters

5:50 - Girls/Boys 4x100 relay

6:10 - Girls/Boys 400 meters

6:50 - Girls/Boys 300 Hurdles

7:10 - Girls/Boys 800 meters

7:45 - Girls/Boys 200 meters

8:00 - Girls/Boys 3200 meters

8:45 - Girls/Boys 4x400 relay

9:10 - Awards

** We will be on a rolling schedule once finals start. Make sure that your athletes are aware that, if we can, we will go faster than what the schedule says.

** Only field event scratches will be allowed on the day of the meet.

**Meet Fees:

$100.00 per gender team

$150.00 for both girls and boys teams

If less than 4 athletes on a girls team or a boys team then $15.00 per individual athlete. 4 athletes are considered a team and you must pay the full team price.
