Special Notes:
-Please let your parents and fans know that no purses or bags will be allowed in the stadium as part of our new security protocols. The only exceptions are for diaper bags and medical bags.
--Please do not enter any athletes in the varsity division. All athletes should be entered in the JV division

Dear Coach,
The E. C. Glass JUNIOR VARSITY INVITATIONAL track and field meet will be held at the E. C. Glass track on Saturday, May 11. Field events will begin at 9
10:00am and the running events will start at 11:30am.
ELIGIBILITY: All athletes in the 8th and 9th grade are eligible to compete. In addition 10th graders can compete in any event as long as they do NOT meet the standards listed below. In addition an athlete cannot be 17 on or before August 1, 2022. There is a maximum of three entries per event and one relay per event. An athlete will abide by VHSL rules concerning event eligibility. VHSL high school rules will apply. Entries should be sent via MILESTAT. Deadline for entries is Thursday, May 9 by 9pm. AWARDS: A team trophy will be awarded to the winning teams. EVENTS: All standard VHSL events will be conducted. Hurdle heights will be high school heights. An athlete can qualify for conference, region or state at this meet.
TIME SCHEDULE: 10:00 Boys LJ, followed by boys TJ Girls LJ, followed by girls TJ Boys Discus followed by Grils Discus, Girls Shot Put followed by Boys Shot Put, Girls HJ, followed by Boys HJ, Boys and Girls PV.
11:30 RUNNING EVENTS TO BE HELD IN THIS ORDER, SECTIONS ON TIME, WITH GIRLS FIRST ROLLING SCHEDULE: 4x800 Relays High Hurdles 100m Dash 1600m Run 4x100 Relays 400m Dash 300m Hurdles 800m Run 200m Dash 3200m Run 4x400 Relays.
ENTRY FEE: Boys entry fee is $150 per team or $10 per athlete, whichever is less. Girls entry fee is $150 per team or $10 per athlete. Checks should be payable to E. C. GLASS TRACK. Entry fee should be mailed to Rodney Smith, E. C. Glass High School, 2111 Memorial Avenue, Lynchburg, Va. 24501.
DEADLINE: Entries on milestat close at 9pm on Thursday, May 9,.
10th graders who have met the standards below are NOT eligible to compete in that event.
11th and 12th graders are not allowed to compete.
Boys: LJ 20-0, TJ 41-0, HJ 5-8, PV 11-0, SP 40-0, Disc 112-0, 100 11.5, 200 23.5, 400 53.0, 800 2:08 1600 4:46, 3200 10:53, 110H 17.0, 300H 44.0.
Girls: LJ 15-6, TJ 32-0, HJ 4-6, PV 7-6, SP 30-0, Disc 87-0,100 13.5, 200 26.5, 400 64.0, 800 2:34 1600 5:50, 3200 13:00, 100H 19.0, 300H 53.0.
There will be an unscored throw meet on Friday evening at 5pm for local varsity throwers. No athlete may compete in the varsity throwdown and compete in the JV division. The discus will be contested first for both boys and girls with the shot put to follow.
