8th Grade runners are able to compete in J.V. race or middle school race
Varsity Races: Top 10 runners (New this year) in varsity races all others JV races
MeetFees $10.00 per individual, $40.00 per gender $75.00 if you are bringing a boys and girls team. If your team has a middle school team that the high school runs make the fee a flat $125.00
Middle School- $10 per runner $35 per gender or $60.00 per school
Payments Mail checks to Bassett High school, 85 Riverside Drive, Bassett, Va 24055, make checks payable to Bassett high school on memo line put cross country
Race day payments will be accepted
Spectators- $5:00 per car (Ticket taker will be a front entrance to complex)
Tee-shirts- DCA Apparel will be setup printing/selling tee-shirts
You and your team are invited to the 10th annual Bengal Clash at the River XC Invitational this fall. The event will be held on an all grass course with some trails at the Smith River Sports Complex.
We will be offering concessions.
Top 15 in the each Varsity High School race will receive medals and the top three teams will receive trophies. Top 10 individuals for JV and middle school races.
Schedule of Events course opens at 3:30 pm, Coaches meeting 4:00, MS 4:30 VG 5:00, VB 5:45 J.V. Mixed 6:15, Open 7:00 pm Rolling Schedule
This will be great opportunity to run on a championship course early in the season. Great competition is expected
