MEET INFORMATION
Spectators: VHSCA, VIAAA & VHSL PRINCIPAL'S AND HONORED GUEST PASSES will be accepted. DISTRICT & FACULTY passes and WILL NOT be accepted. There will be a $10 admission. Concessions will be available.
Athletes: Athletes in proper uniform with BIB (only) will be admitted free at the door. Athletes not in uniform will have to pay admission in order to enter the Facility. Only spikes or less may be used. Only TAPE will be allowed to mark the track or runways. Please remove all tape after the event has been completed.
Coaches: There will be 3 wrist bands in each school packet. Additional wristbands will be given with proof of district coaches pass only. No exceptions.
Equipment: Meet management will furnish starting blocks. All other equipment, team or personal must be furnished by the competing schools.
The current National Federation Track & Field Rule Book and rules established by the Virginia High School League will be followed.
Entries: OFFICIAL REGIONAL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA THE MILESTAT ENTRY SYSTEM NO LATER THAN 11:59 PM, SUNDAY, FEB 04, 2024. YOUR ENTRIES AS OF THIS DEADLINE WILL BE CONSIDERED FINAL AND DECLARED. If an athlete does not have a seed time or distance, enter NT/NH. Each team will be allowed to enter a maximum of 4 athletes per event. Each athlete can participate in 3 running events, and any amount of field events. Each team can enter only one relay from their school.
Relays: Relay teams will be declared on a relay card provided at the meet at the time of event check-in.Eight (8) athletes may be listed any four (4) of whom may run. The relay will count as an event only for those four (4) athletes who actually compete. Note that the only way to enter an athlete who is only going to be used as a relay runner is to list them online in one of the 8 slots allowed for each relay. DO NOT ENTER MORE THAN EIGHT (8) NAMES FOR ANY ONE RELAY
Declaration: ALL ENTRIES FOR RUNNING EVENTS AT THE DEADLINE ON SUNDAY WILL BE BY RULE, CONFIRMED AS ENTERED. IT WILL COUNT AGAINST THE ATHLETE'S MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE EVENTS WHETHER THEY CONTEST THEM OR NOT.
STARTING HEIGHTS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE GAMES COMMITTEE ONLY.
Advancement: The top three athletes and top three relays from each event will advance to the state meet on February 26-27, 2024 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach VA
Scoring: Scoring will be 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Buses: Make sure to park buses in the bus parking lot (parking across from the facility).

Friday, February 9, 2024
7:00 AM: Doors Open
7:30 AM: Coaches Meeting
8:00 AM: Field Events will run before track events (Check in at event)
Boys Long Jump followed by Girls Long Jump
Girls Shot Put followed by Boys Shot Put
Girls and Boys High Jump will contest at the same time.
12:00 PM:Running Event Begins (Girls, then Boys)
