2024 Concorde District Spring Meet Format
For our regular season events, we will follow a similar format. Visiting teams should be prepared to help out host teams with one or more field events, and/or other meet duties. Meet hosts should reach out to visiting teams at least one (1) week in advance to let the other teams know what to plan for.
4:30 pm- Pole Vault Weigh-in
FIELD EVENTS:
Throws- 3 attempts/no finals
LJ/TJ- 3 attempts/no finals
4:45 pm
* Girls Shot, followed by Boys Shot
* Open pit for Boys & Girls Long Jump until 6pm
* Pole vault will start at 6' then boys can come in at 7' 6"
* Girls HJ start at 4'0" (followed by Boys)
* Boys & Girls Triple Jump open pit from 615-730pm
* Boys shot
* Girls Disc
* Boys HJ start at 5'0"
ORDER OF EVENTS- TRACK (Events will be run Girls, followed by Boys)
5:00 pm
* 4x800m Relay- Boys and girls together
5:15 pm (if no 4x800m contested)
* Girls 100m HH
* Boys 110HH
* 100m Dash
* 1600m Run
* 4x100m Relay
* 400m Dash
* 300m Hurdles
* 800m Run
* 200m Dash
* 3200m Run- Boys & Girls will run together if combined entries are less than 20
* 4x400m Relay
All entries will be due on WEDNESDAY, 4/10, at 2:00 pm . If there are issues, please contact Matt Gilchrist at mtgilchrist@fcps.edu. A meet program will be sent out by 10 am on meet day.
Meet results will be posted live, via Milestat's Live Results.
Please note that for this meet, teams are limited to 8 individuals per running event, 1 relay per team, and 10 competitors per field event. WIth this in mind, please be judicious in your entries. If you know someone is not going to run, please do not put them in. We want to minimize empty lanes to keep the meet as competitive as possible, and to keep the meet going with fewer heats necessary.
DUTIES: (Field events include coach/official to run the event, as well as parent/student helpers)

Shot Put- Chantilly
Discus (will not be contested at Madison). Teams may compete in the discus earlier in the week and bring
results to be included in the results.
High Jump- Centreville
Pole Vault-- Oakton
Starter- TBA
Timing- Craig Chasse/K&G Timing
Clerk- Madison
Finish Line- Madison
Hip Numbers- Madison
Hurdle Crew- Madison
Announcer- Madison
