Meet Information
Location: Pulaski County Middle School 4396 Lee Highway Pulaski, VA 24301
This is a meet for River Ridge Schools Cave Spring, Christiansburg, Salem and Pulaski County teams can arrive at 4:00pm (please do not arrive sooner due to school release) and the meet will start at 5:00 with field events and running events at 5:30.
Seniors will be recognized at 4:30 on the track.
Bus Parking/Drop-Off: You will be able to drop athletes near track. There is 1 entrance/exit to the lot at PCMS. Buses should enter the PCMS entrance, follow the raod and stay to the right around to the track and drop athletes. Parking for buses will be in the parking lot opposite end of the track from athlete drop-off. NO TEAM BUSES CAN ARRIVE BEFORE 4 PM.
Admission: $7:00 per person (CASH ONLY) each person entering the gate will receive a ticket that will allow them to leave and re-enter the facility.
Concession Stand: We will have a concession stand and food tracks at the meet that will provide snacks, drinks, etc.
Spikes: Please use ONLY 1/4 in pyrmaid spikes, there will be no spike check so we ask coaches to make sure their athletes have the appropriate spike length.
Warm-up Area: Warm ups will be allowed on that track when not in use. When the running events stat athletes may warm up in the infield but please be mindful of the discus area. ONLY WATER IS ALLOWED IN THE INFIELD.
Trainer: We will have a trainer, but she will be used for emergencies only.
Team Camps: Team camps will be on the far side of the track, opposite the spectator area. The front straight will be used as the spectator sides and NO team camps may be set up there.
Spectators: There are no seats for spectators but the area sits up on a hill allowing for great viewing of the whole track, we suggest you bring chairs, blankets etc. to sit on.
There will be no pole vault at this meet
Entries will be limited to 3 per running event and 3 per field event due to the fact the track does not have lights
