• Saturday, May 21 at Eastside High School track 

• 9:00 coaches meeting

• 9:30 start field events

• 10:30 4 X 800m Relay

• High hurdles would begin after the completion of the jumping events

• A registration page on milestat will be set up. (I dont see the need to fill out a region entry form)

• You should have everything entered online as we have in the past. 

• Entries and times can be entered through Friday, May 17 at noon.

• We will not add anyone or change entries on Saturday at the coaches meeting, it will be scratches only so please make sure that your entries match who will be able to attend the meet on Saturday.  

• You may list substitutions for relays but they need to be listed on milestat by the deadline of May 20 at noon. 

• A performance list will be available in the afternoon on Friday and that would allow time for coaches to view the list on milestat and make any necessary changes they need to make by contacting me. 

• We will have relay cards to fill out and turn in at the day of the meet for those that are actually running the relay.  Again, make sure that all substitutes are listed on milestat.

• The region 1D standards are attached with this email 

• I am sure that we will have some athletes in multiple events at the same time.  We need to make sure that they check in at each event that they are involved with.  Athletes will be allowed 10 minutes after their running event to check back in for field events.

• A state entry form is attached and a copy needs to be left with the director before leaving on Saturday (in the past the state has this in case there is a discrepancy about online entries)

• The top 5 individuals and top 3 relay teams from each district along with anyone that has reached a region 1D qualifying mark are eligible to be entered in this meet.

• The top 4 in each event and anyone that has reached a state qualifying mark are eligible to be entered in the state track meet

• Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 for all events

• Pole vault will not be held at EHS on this date, it will be held at Tennessee High and I will forward this date, once it is set. 

As always, we will need everyone to step in and volunteer to help run the field events, help at the finish line, move hurdles, judge exchange zones, and be helpful as you always are.  The more help we get, the faster we will go, and the faster we can finish on our Saturday.  Thanks for all you do and let me know about any questions or concerns.
