Friday Evening XC
On Friday, August 30, 2024, Trials of Miles is hosting a special night of Cross Country racing at Morven Park Grounds for middle school, high school, collegiate and open athletes. Runners can expect a fast course and a unique festival like environment with music, food trucks, and evening races. We are also offering an open race for unattached athletes & club teams. The high school races will be NFHS sanctioned (VA, DC, PA, NC, WV)

Morven Park
Provides an ideal setting for a marquee Cross Country course, with a variety of desired & essential elements. The grass fields are expertly manicured, with surrounding picturesque wooded landscape and intentionally designed natural pathways. Morven's XC course also features an honest balance of hills to challenge runners and complimentary downhill and flat stretches for recovery, creating a productive flow through. Wide open fields and connected loops afford spectators a direct connection, in multiple areas, to cheer on runners as they test early season conditioning. Simultaneously, coaches can reach various points to evaluate their runners' form, fitness, and competitive instincts!

3:30 pm Middle School Girls and Boys Combined 2 Miles (6th - 8th grade)
3:45 pm Freshman Boys 2 miles (9th grade only)
4:00 pm Freshman Girls 2 miles (9th grade only)
4:15 pm JV Boys 5K
4:45 pm JV Girls 5K
5:15 pm Open 5K Race
5:45 pm College Men's 6K
6:15 PM College Women's 5K
6:35 pm Varsity Boys 5K
7:05 pm Varsity Girls 5K

Awards: The top 25 finishers in each race will receive a customized New Balance Fanny or a Bucket Hat. The overall winning teams in each varsity section will receive a New Balance Backpack.

The goal of this event isn't just to create another early season invitational, but rather to present cross country in a new way. In addition to a spectator friendly course, and races that take place in the late afternoon and early evening, runners can expect food trucks, music and a unique festival like environment out on the course. We'll also be hosting an open race for any parents, coaches, or friends who want to experience the magic of cross country racing for themselves.

Additional Payment Details
$15 per athlete/$275 per gender team (unlimited entries). Checks can be made payable to "Trials of Miles Racing LLC" and mailed to Trials of Miles Racing, 440 E Rte 66, Glendora CA 91740.
Payment can also be completed via Milesplit Registration using a credit card.
