This Registration Page is for Two (2) Bay Rivers District Meets.
Please make sure to register for the appropriate meet:
1. Smithfield, hosting York, Poquoson and LaFayette.
2. Bruton, hosting Tabb and Warhill.
Runners from all 7 teams will run simultaneously but results will be scored as separate meets, as stated above.
All Races to be held at Windsor Castle Park in Smithfield.
There will be three races. The first two are Varsity Races, with no entry limit (so you may run more than 7 runners). The aim with this is to help you solidify/sort your rosters and build your developing near-varsity runners' abilities. That being said, please don't enter a runner in a Varsity race if they will not be completed by the posted start of the next race. The third is a JV and 8th Grade Race. All races will be on our 5000m Course.
MEET INFO: There will be a packet with team bibs and safety pins for pickup at the finish line before the meet. Please do not conserve safety pins, ALL athletes need to use 4 safety pins and the number needs to be on the front of the jersey. Not on their back, not on their shorts. It does not matter which race you enter an athlete in. If you enter an athlete in JV and decide to move them to Varsity or vice versa it will not cause a problem.
Please enter Windsor Castle Park via Cedar instead of Jericho Ave if bringing your team on a bus(you will not make it down Jericho, as it is a steep brick and cobblestone road). Please do not park bus on Kayak Avenue, Dan Avenue or on Jericho Ave at the Race Crossing/Intersection (which will also be marked with cones). Parking attendants will guide you to the open field opposite the starting/finish line field instead.
We'll do Team Check-in/Packet Pickup beginning at 3:30pm in the open field near Start Line. Volunteers Meeting at 3:30pm. Brief Coaches Mtg at 4pm. Warm-up area and Porta Johns are near Main Parking Lot.
- 4:30pm - Girls Varsity Race - 5000m
- 5:00pm - Boys Varsity Race - 5000m
- 5:30pm - Girls & Boys(combined) JV and 8th Grade Race - 5000m
