REGISTRATION: TOTAL TEAMS REGISTRATION WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 30 SCHOOLS. All entries will be done online at www.va.milesplit.com Registration must be entered on Milestat.com by WEDNESDAY APRIL 16, 2023 @ 11:59 PM.
ENTRY FEE: $350 per School or $175 per Single gender Teams. For Teams less 5 athletes per Gender; the entry fee will be $20 per Athlete. All payments for registration should be made out to Clover Hill High School. REGISTRATION RESTRICTIONS: For RUNNING events restrictions include 6 Athletes per Gender per Event per School. For FIELD events restrictions include 3 Athletes per Gender per Event per School. Only "A" Relay team per Gender per Event.
RULES: IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFHS; This Event is sanctioned by the Virginia High School League. This Event will be a State, Region and District Qualifier. All Field Events will be officiated by Certified USATF Officials. There will be Prelims in the 100m Dash and 100/110 High Hurdles. Top Eight times will Advance to the Finals.
AWARDS: All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Individual and Relay Teams finishers will receive Medals. Overall Team Champion Boy & Girl Trophy. The Top 8 Finishers (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1) will score points.
FACILITY: New 400 meter all weather Track with 8 lanes. Two separate all weather runways for use as a Girls pit and Boys pit. Fully Automatic Timing will be provided by Mantronix Sports Agency & Live Results will be provided by Live.Athletic.net
Tents will be allowed on the top rows of the stadium. Concessions will be available.
MEET DETAILS: No bare feet or stocking feet. Shirts are required. Only spikes are allowed on track and runways, nothing longer or pyramid spikes. Long/Triple Jump, Shot and Discus will receive four attempts with no finals. Throwers must bring their own implements and will subject to inspection by USATF Officials for weight for particular event during the Implement Weigh in.
THERE WILL BE NO ONE ALLOWED ON THE MIDDLE IN-FIELD AREA AFTER THE COACHES MEETING DUE TO FACILTITY RESTRICTIONS.ONLY MEET OFFICIALS AND ATHLETES ACTUALLY COMPETING WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION AREAS DURING THE MEET
