Turner Ashby Knights Invitational
Location: Turner Ashby High School, Bridgewater, VA

Time: Coaches Meeting 8:30 AM, Field events 9:00 AM, 4x800m relay 9:30 AM

Entry Fee: $275 per school or $10 per athlete (if not bringing a full team). This meet will be limited to 16 teams. Please make checks payable to TAHS Track and Field. Meet entry fees are due by March 29th. Please mail checks to the following address:

Entries: Meet entries are due to Milestat by Wednesday, April 9th at 11:00 pm. Teams may enter THREE (3) athletes per event and ONE (1) relay team. Entries must be submitted on Milestat, no other form of entries will be accepted. VHSL participation: athletes are allowed to compete in three running events, unlimited field; only two running events if one is the 3200m.
Scratches: A competitor may scratch from an event on the day of the meet and still be eligible to compete in other events for which he/she was declared. Athletes declared in 3 events may not scratch an individual event and be added to a relay. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification.
Implements: Shots and discs will be weighed and verified at the Spirit Shack starting at 8:00 AM. Pole Vault certification sheets are to be filled out and turned into the official prior to the start of the event.
Facility:
BRAND NEW 8-lane rubber track, runways, and high jump area. Maximum length of inch pyramid spikes ONLY. Concrete throwing circles. We also have a BRAND NEW pole vault pit! No locker rooms are available. Restrooms are located on either side of the concession stand.
Team tents are allowed outside of the oval in grassy areas or visitors side bleachers only! No team tents will be allowed in the home side bleachers!
Buses: Teams can be dropped off at the main gate across from the parking lot, then will proceed to park in the large student parking lot directly behind the visiting side bleachers.
Admission: $6.00 for spectators. VHSL passes ONLY will be accepted.
Concessions: The Turner Ashby Booster Club will offer concessions throughout the day.
Timing/Results: Blue Ridge Timing. Live Results will be available. A link will be provided as we near the day of the meet.
Miscellaneous:
No changes (except scratches) after the entry deadline. Coaches are responsible for checking
Long/Triple Jump, Shot/Discus events will be 3 attempts and top 7 will move on to finals for an additional 3 attempts. Athletes will be given 15 minutes from the time of check out to return to their field event to complete their attempts. DO NOT hang out in the bullpen if you are checked out for a field event. After 15 minutes, the athlete will be returned to the competition order and their name will be called to make their remaining attempt/attempts.
High Jump and Pole Vault starting heights will be determined once entries are finalized.
Awards: Team trophies will be awarded to the top boys & girls teams upon conclusion of the meet.
T-Shirts will be available for sale throughout the meet while supplies last.
In the event of inclement weather, athletes and coaches will be directed to report to their buses, and spectators will report to their vehicles.
