The Albemarle County Middle School Invitational Track Meet will be:
Albemarle County Parks and Recreation sponsors this Program
Events: 1600, 100, 400, 300H, 800, 200, 4X100, 4x400, Long Jump, Shot put (Combined 7th,8th Grade Only) Discus (Combined 7th,8th Grade Only)
Field Events - Shot and Discus 4 throws , LJ 3- Jumps (No finals)
(Medals for 1st , 2nd and 3rd in Each Grade for all events)
Relays are for 6/7/8 grade combined teams *(Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Teams in Relays) Trophies for 1st and 2nd Place Girls and Boys teams
Directions to WAHS: (Western Albemarle High School, 5941 Rockfish Gap Turnpike, Crozet, VA 22932)
From 64, Take Exit 107 to Route 250. Go East on Route 250 for 1 mile. Then right on at Stop Light - school is on right in about 300 yards.

No Starting Blocks for any events
0930 - 1600 girls, Heat for each grade -6/7 &8 scored by grade - Rainbow Start-Heats are limited to 16 entries
10:00 - 1600 boys, Heat for each grade-6/7 &8 scored by grade-Rainbow Start-Heats are limited to 16 entries
10:30 - 100 Girls 6th grade, then 7th , then 8th
10:45 -100 Boys 6th Grade, then, 7th, then 8th
11:00 - 400 Girls (same order of 6/7/8 grades as above), Full Lap Stagger start
11:15 - 400 boys (same order of 6/7/8 grades as above) Full Lap Stagger start
11:45 PM - 300 Hurdles (Boys and Girls Heats) -all grades run together -7 &8 grades only and are scored together, not by grade
12:00- 800 girls, Heat for each grade -6/7 &8 scored by grade - Rainbow Start-Heats are limited to 16 entries
12:15 - 800 boys, Heat for each grade-6/7 &8 scored by grade-Rainbow Start-Heats are limited to 16 entries
12:30 - 200 girls (same order of 6/7/8 grades as above for 100)
12:45 - 200 boys (same order of 6/7/8 grades as above for 100)
13:00- 4 X 100 Relays- Girls then Boys (Teams include 6/7 and 8 Grade runners)
13:15 - 4 X 400 Relays -Girls then Boys (Teams include 6/7 and 8 Grade runners)
Team scoring is 5-3-1 for individual events and 10-6-2 for relays
Awards for 1st and 2nd place overall for Girls and Boys teams.
Should be a fast and fun meet finishing NLT 1330/1:30 PM !
