INDOOR TRACK MEET 2025

Admission: $10.00 - VHSL passes accepted

Location: Roanoke College - Cregger Center - 287 High St, Salem, VA 24153

The coaches meeting will be at 12:30pm, field events will start at 1:00pm. (Pits will open at 12:15 for run throughs)

TEAMS AND COACHES WILL BE REQUIRED TO HELP AT FIELD EVENTS! WE NEED EVERYONE TO HELP MAKE THIS A SUCCESSFUL EVENT! ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE SENT OUT THE WEEK OF THE MEET!

***SPIKE FACILITY*** Spikes are to be worn only on track surface areas. Spikes are not allowed outside the indoor track area. If there is damage to the facility caused by spikes the Region will be billed.

SPIKE LENGTH: 1/4in pyramid length only - Spike check-in location to be announced upon arrival. Wireless Communication: No wireless communication, except those allowed by the meet administration are allowed. All cell phones should be silent. Any athletes using headphones, cell phones or other portable electronic devices in the competition area may be disqualified.Video Ban: It is strictly against the rules to view a video while in active participation. This will result in immediate disqualification from that event. Only a coach can view a video made in an unrestricted area. After viewing, the coach may discuss with the athlete in an unrestricted area; however, at no time during the competition may an athlete view the video.Uniforms: Hats, sunglasses or other extraneous attire will not be permitted (unless medically necessary). The national federation uniform rule will be enforced. Relay teams MUST have matching uniforms, and ALL TEAMS MUST wear their school uniforms. Relay Cards: Coaches need to fill out relay cards for each of their relays. Relay Cards should include school names and the names of the competing relay athletes in their order.Vertical Jumps: We will use the five alive method for high jump. Athletes in running events must check out and check back in after their running event is completed. If they check in after their allotted time, a miss may be charged to them.

**ATHLETES HAVE 15 MINUTES TO CHECK BACK INTO THEIR FIELD EVENT AFTER CHECKING OUT FOR A RUNNING EVENT**Scratches: Scratches can be made up until the declaration deadline of Feb. 19 by 8pm.Entry Limits: Since there are no conference meets for athletes to qualify as expressed in the Region 2C Handbook, each school can enter 3 athletes per event and 1 relay team. 

Parking instructions:Buses will drop students off and then park in designated bus area. Spectators can park across from the Cregger Center in lots on High St. Most will park at the bottom of the hill in the large lot next to Thompson Memorial. More information to follow with a parking map.

Pole Vault, Starting Heights - Girls (5-6) Boys (7-0)

Only certified poles are to be in the vault area
