Lake Fairfax Invitational

Cross Country Meet



  • When: Saturday, September 18, 2004, 9:00 A.M.
  • Where: Lake Fairfax Park, Reston, VA
  • Course: New redesigned 5000 meter course. Spectator friendly. Mostly grass and trails with some moderate hills and a stream crossing.
  • Who: 25 teams from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC
  • Entries: Please submit roster via Hy-Tek team manager to scottraczko@yahoo.com. If you do not have Hy-Tek team manager, you may download Hy-Tek team manager lite from www.Hy-tekltd.com. If you are not using Hy-Tek, please submit roster and entry form to Lake Fairfax Invitational, Metro Run & Walk, P.O. Box 3090, Falls Church, VA 22043 or fax to (703) 790-8570. The entry deadline is September 10.
  • Entry Fee: $20 per race entered. Maximum entry fee is $140 for up to 8 races. The entry fee check should be made payable to NVCCTFA.
  • Awards: There will be awards to the top twenty individuals in each varsity race and to the top fifteen in the ninth grade and junior varsity races. The top three teams in the varsity races and in the ninth grade races will receive trophies.
  • T-shirts: Souvenir T-shirts and bags will be sold throughout the meet.

  • Each team may enter each race. The seeded varsity race is designed to be the most competitive race of the day. A team may enter the seeded varsity and the varsity race. Runners do not need to be entered in a specific race until race day, provided that they are on the submitted roster.
