BOYS AND GIRLS REGION B TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

4:00 p.m.: Coaches meeting at bullpen. (Weigh-in shot and
discus behind bleachers near shot ). Teams should not arrive before 3:30.

ELIGIBILITY: The Region B track meet will be limited to the first 6 finishers and the top 3 relay teams in the district meet, or individuals or relay teams that have met regional or state qualifying standards.
ENTRIES: All entries to the regional meet must be given to the district meet director. Make out your entry form in duplicate, keeping one for yourself to confirm by. Scratches must be made by FAX to STEVE GEIMAN no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, May 31.

FACILITIES: The Monticello track is 400 meters and has 8 lanes. The track surface is rubberized. The shot and discus circles are concrete. 1/4" spikes and flats may be used on the track and runways.
COACHES: The coaches will meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28 in the bullpen tent. During this time, weighing of shot and discus will take place.
ADMISSIONS: Adults and students: $5.00. Pre-school children: No Charge
State and Region B Activities passes will be honored. Programs are $2.00
T-Shirts will be sold
ATHLETES: All athletes must remain in the track area. Any athlete in Monticello High School will be disqualified.
AWARDS: Meet trophies will be presented as soon as scores are validated. Individual awards may be picked up at the press box at the conclusion of the meet. The top 6 finishers and top 3 relay teams will receive medals.
SCORING: Individual (10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1) Relay (10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1)
CONCESSIONS: Monticello High School will operate a concession stand.
STATE ENTRIES:
Attention Track Coaches: Please note the following: At the conclusion of the meet, the head coaches of each team must submit their state entry forms to STEVE GEIMAN, keeping a copy for them to confirm by. Make sure first names are included.
