2025 VHSL Region 5C Championship - Performance List (Updated 05.23.2025)
2025 Region 5C Outdoor Track & Field Championships
Site: L.C. Bird High School/ Louisa High School (Pole Vault only)
Date: May 21 (Pole Vault Only) May 24 & May 27
Admission: $8.00 per Region 5C Policy. VHSCA, VIAAA & VHSL PRINCIPALS AND HONORED GUEST PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. FACULTY PASSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ATHLETES WILL BE ADMITTED BY UNIFORM.

Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Equipment: Starting Blocks will be furnished by meet management. All other equipment, team or personal, must be supplied by competing teams and individuals. All Shots and Discus will be certified by the Meet Official.
Uniform: Athletes are required to wear the official school uniform. hip numbers must be worn for all running events.
Dressing: No dressing facilities will be available. All teams should come dressed to compete.
Entry: Each school will get 3 individual entries and 1 relay entry in all Events. Team may enter additional athletes in all events if each athlete has met the Region standards during the 2025 outdoor season.
Limitations:
Relay Teams: Relay teams will be officially declared on a relay declaration card when the team reports the clerk of course for check-in. At that time a maximum of six (6) athletes from the entry roster may be listed, any four (4) of which may run. The relay will count as an event only for those athletes who actually run. Athletes must be on the teams regional roster to compete in the relays.
If an athlete is not doing an open event and there is a chance they will be needed to run the relay be sure to enter them into the meet as a leg in one of the relays.
Entry Forms: All entries must be submitted online via the MileStat entry system no later than 7:00PM, Monday, May 19th. NO EXCEPTIONS- All entries must be submitted. Only performances verified by the MileStat database for the 2024-25 Outdoor Season will be allowed for entry. All entries at the entry deadline are considered Declared and will count towards an athletes maximum number of events.
State Meet: The top four (4) finishers in each event and the four (4) relay teams from the Region Championships meet and anyone meeting the 2024-25 State standards will advance.
Qualifying:
Meet Management: Meet Management will secure VHSL/USATF certified Starters, Clerk and Meet Referees. We may need assistance from all schools with the exchange zones and with counting laps for the 1600m and 3200m Run. Each school has been assigned a Field Event or Relay Zone to run. Please make sure you have a coach that is able to run off that event.
Awards: Trophies will be presented to the Champion and Runner Up Teams. Medals will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each event All-Region Team:
Top 4 finishers in each event are considered All-Region
All-Academic:Region 5C honors athletes in each sport that maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Please indicate All Academic candidates with an asterisk (*) following their last name on your online entry.
Meet MVP: Ballots for Meet MVP will be provided and must be returned by the conclusion of the meet.
Coach of the YearBallots for Coach of the Year will be provided and must be returned by the conclusion of the meet.
Entry Deadline: Online entries will close at 7:00PM, Monday, May 19 2025 after which no additional entries will be accepted. All entries are considered Declared and will count towards an athletes maximum number of events.
