Coaches Meeting - FRIDAY-5:15 PM / Rain Date-Saturday 9:30 am

Admissions: $5.00 CASH ONLY for all. No charge for preschool children.

ALL EVENTS: Are contained within the perimeter of the Track Stadium. Only participants/helpers are allowed on the infield.

Athletic Trainer: The trainer will be on site.

Entry Forms: Entries must be done via MILESTAT

Entry Deadline: The deadline for entries will be TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2026, NOON

**NO CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED ON Saturday.**ONLY SCRATCHES. (See VHSL Guidelines for Participation Rules)

Sportsmanship, uniforms, and electronic devices in the competition area will be enforced. Please prepare your athletes.

RULES: National Federation Edition of Track & Field Rules - VHSL Handbook.

*Cursing - not directed at anyone in particular (penalty: ejection from the meet, points do not count, and the next contest)

*Unacceptable conduct by a competitor includes, but is not limited to: willful failure to follow the directions of a meet official. (penalty: DQ from that event)

*Unsportsmanlike conduct is behavior that is unethical or dishonorable. It includes, but is not limited to: disrespectfully addressing an official, any flagrant behavior, intentional contact, taunting, criticizing, or using profanity directed toward someone. This applies to all coaches, competitors, and other team/school personnel.

(penalty: DQ from that event and further competition in the meet. DQ of a coach or other school personnel shall be from further involvement in the meet. PER VHSL: DQ from event and further competition in that meet, PLUS next two (2) contests-20% of the allowed contests)

*Using racial slurs/hate speech (penalty: DQ from meet and the next three (3) meets--30% of the allowed contests)

Awards: Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 athletes in each event. Medals will also be given to the top 3 relay teams. Trophy for the top combined school score.

T-shirts: Shirts will be made on-site. Inform your athletes so they can buy theirs while supplies last.

Concessions: The concessions stand will be open throughout the evening and will serve a variety of food and drink items.

Spikes: Spikes will be permitted no more than 1/4" inch

Limited Shade: Team Tents need to be up against the fence on the outside edges of the fence

(See VHSL Guidelines for Participation Rules) Athletes are permitted unlimited field entries and 3 running events, except for athletes running the 3200m, who are restricted to two running events. Sportsmanship and the use of electronic devices in competition areas will be enforced. Please prepare your athletes.

A reminder that a field competitor may scratch without penalty. A running competitor may scratch from an event on the day of the meet and still be eligible to compete in other events for which he/she were registered. Again, no substitutions are permitted. Violations of these rules will result in disqualification from the event and the rest of the meet

Participants must report to the bullpen (in the middle of the field) by the second call. The absence from the 3rd call will result in a scratch for that event. Only athletes in the bullpen are permitted on the infield. All other coaches, athletes, and spectators must remain in the stands.

CELL PHONES: Many of you have cell phones. The ringing of all cell phones can be very distracting to our competing athletes, particularly if it rings at the start of a race, during the approach, or during a spin in the circle. It is a violation of NFHS rules for an athlete to speak on a phone in the competition area. An athlete may be disqualified for this violation. Meet management requests that you set your phones to silent or vibrate so that potential problems or distractions will not inhibit the performance of our meet participants.

5:00 PM Certification of shotput and discus between the shot and discus area

5:15 PM Coaches meeting at the bullpen in the middle of the field.

5:25 AM National Anthem

5:30 PM 1st call for field events (boys shot, girls discus, boys triple, girls long jump, girls high jump) and Girls 4 X 800

Final Call

5:45 PM Boys/girls long jump

Boys/girls triple jump (following completion of long jumps)

Boys shot put/girls discus

Girls shot put/boys discus (following completion of boys shot put/girls discus Girls high jump/boys high jump (starting heights Girls 4', Boys 5')

Running Events (All running events will be final!, 4 throws 4 jumps (except high jump 3), no finals)
