Meet Information
**Meet Date CHANGED to Tuesday, 1/13 due to weather**
Traditional Polar Bear Meet hosted by Abingdon High School sponsored by ??. The meet will have Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) by Trojan Timing. We will follow the normal indoor T&F meet schedule and will allow each school to enter 2 relays and 5 individuals in each event. You can enter additional entries for 10.00 per entry. Entries will close on 1/12/26 at 10pm. Coaches will be assigned an event they will run at the meet.
Meet will start at 4pm with field events. Running events will start at 4pm (schedule below). Athletes should be at the starting line by 2nd call.
**The Cost of the Polar Bear Meet is 100.00 per school or 15.00 per athlete to Abingdon Track & Field. All MS athletes are individuals and are not part of 100.00 team fee.**
Field Events: Start at 4pm
Girls/Boys LJ followed by Girls/Boys TJ
Middle School Long Jump after HS TJ
Girls HJ followed by Boys HJ (Middle School after HS)
**All athletes will complete LJ before HJ (you will have a few jumps in between as break)**
Girls PV followed by Boys (will be combined if less than 10 vaulters)
Boys SP followed by Girls SP (Middle School after HS)
4pm-4x800m Relay during field events (Combined)
4:15-Middle School 1600m Run during field events (Combined)
4:25-3200m during field events (Combined)
4:40-Middle School 500m Run during field events (Girls then Boys)
4:55-Middle School 55m Hurdles during field events (Girls then Boys)
