We are excited to host the Rebel Last Chance meet at Emory and Henry's new track this season on Saturday, May 9th. We are allowing more teams this year. In the past we only allowed 14 teams because we hosted this meet on a Wednesday night but now the meet will be on a Saturday so we are allowing an unlimited number of teams. There is a $150.00 entry fee. My email is mlove@wcs.k12.va.us.
Checks should be made out to Patrick Henry High School.
Also, three entries per school per event. You also must abide by the rule of no more than three running events, unless you run the 3200. Then you can only do two running events. Unlimited on field events.
We will begin at 9:00. Three jumps or throws for everybody. No finals. This meet will be sanctioned so it will be a state qualifying meet.
We will be recognizing our seniors in between field and running events. Once we start finals in running events we will be on a rolling schedule.
Estimated time schedule:
9:00 - Girls and Boys Long Jump, Girls High Jump, Girls Discus, and Boys Shot Put followed by Girls and Boys Triple Jump, Boys High Jump, Boys Discus, and Girls Shot Put. Pole Vault will be run boys and girls together starting at 9:00
10:00 - Girls followed by boys 4 x 800 relay
10:45 - Senior Ceremony
11:00 - Finals in all running events
